Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and G3S Ventures Inc., an Alberta corporation ("YourType", "we"). By creating an account or using yourtype.ai you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use YourType.

You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to view adult content where you live, to use YourType. Before you can use YourType you must confirm this with an explicit 18+ declaration (a checkbox that is never pre-ticked). We keep a record of when you confirmed it. This is a self-declaration (age assurance), not independent age verification: we do not collect your date of birth, ID or a selfie. We close accounts we believe belong to anyone under 18.

Some features, including adult content, are not available in every country or region. We may block access where local law requires.

YourType lets you create fictional AI companions and chat with them. Companions are software. They are not real people, they have no feelings, and what they say is generated by AI and can be wrong. Nothing a companion says is professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

Every character on YourType is a fictional adult. Images and videos are generated by AI and do not depict real people. Replies, images and videos are created automatically by AI models and are not reviewed by a person before you see them.

No human pretends to be your companion. Our staff may read conversations only to investigate reports, enforce our rules, fix problems you ask us to look at, or when the law requires.

Keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. One person per account. You may not sell, share or transfer your account.

You must follow our Content Policy. You may not use YourType, in chat, prompts, uploads, images, videos or any other media (including cartoons and simulations), to create, request or share content involving:

(a) deepfakes, or any real or identifiable person, celebrity or public figure; (b) minors or anyone who appears or is described as under 18, including school settings, childlike bodies or behaviour, age-play and subjects in diapers; (c) non-consent, including sleeping or unconscious partners, coercion and sexual violence; (d) incest, including step-family; (e) watersports, scat or other bodily-waste content; (f) violence, abduction, captivity, snuff or fantasy snuff; (g) bestiality or animal cruelty; (h) sexual activity under the influence of drugs, alcohol or hypnosis; (i) prostitution or escorting; (j) polygamy; (k) illegal activity, including instructions for weapons or bombs and plotting any crime; (l) professional advice, including medical, legal, financial and gambling or handicapping advice; (m) hate speech.

Everything on YourType is AI-generated and labelled as such. Images and videos carry an "AI-generated" label on screen and a machine-readable AI marker in the file.

We enforce these rules with automatic filters on what you type and on every generated reply, image and video, human review of reports, and review of everything shared publicly (the Feed and community characters) before it appears. Content that breaks the rules is blocked or removed, and accounts that try to create it can be suspended or closed and, where required, reported to authorities. You keep any rights you have in what you type. You give us a licence to store and process it to run YourType, including sending it to our AI providers to generate replies and images, and to enforce our rules.

Images and replies generated for you are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use YourType output to depict, harass or impersonate a real person, or present it as a real photo of a real person.

YourType, its software, design, logo, preset characters and Discover characters belong to us. Companions you create are yours to use on YourType; public Discover characters are ours, and chatting with one gives you a private copy for your own use.

Premium and Premium+ are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout. They renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.

Credits pay for portraits, photos, videos, gifts, wardrobe outfits and some story chapters; the price in credits is shown before you spend them. Monthly plan credits are added each month (on the yearly plan too). Unused monthly credits expire when the next month’s credits arrive; they do not roll over. Monthly credits are used before purchased ones. Purchased credits never expire and are not capped. Referral credits are added as purchased credits. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are removed when you delete your account.

If a generation fails or is held by our safety checks, its credits are returned automatically.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, whose billing name appears on your statement. Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy (yourtype.ai/legal/refunds). We will tell you before any price change applies to you.

Free accounts get 50 welcome messages, then 10 messages a day, one companion, 3 free portraits of her (or a ready-made companion from Discover) and 3 free photos of her. Paid plans include unlimited messages under fair use. After 150 messages in a day on Premium (300 on Premium+), replies come from a lighter AI model until the next day. We may limit automated, abusive or unusually heavy use that affects the service for others.

Companions are designed to be supportive, but they are not a substitute for real people or professional help. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services, or call or text 9-8-8 in Canada or 988 in the US.

You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Some records are kept after deletion where the law requires (see our Privacy Policy).

YourType is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, except where the consumer law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
